His yoga background is a synthesis of Iyengar, Vini, Nada and Anusara inspired yoga designed to methodically open the body and mind in preparation for a voyage into SOUND MEDITATION! This class will explore the power of working in the lower chakras through a grounding practice of hip openers, twists and core stability poses. The practice will demonstrate the powerful health, fitness and emotional benefits of energizing these muscle groups and organ systems as they relate to the yogic understanding of the mind and body. Nada Yoga specifically uses the power of sound through voice, chant and instruments to support health and well being by centering the nervous system when exposed to live music.
